Ayanna’s Story

Ayanna Martine, the alternative rock singer-songwriter started singing before she could talk as a baby. Her musical history is filled with vocal competitions, performances, and playing in various rock and punk bands. During her high school years, Ayanna founded the “Arts & Entertainment Club” which won a Sojourner Truth Award in 2016, and strengthened the creative community in upstate New York. 

From her driven passion for music at a young age, came notable success after Donna Hall, founder of the New York School of Music introduced Ayanna to Dwaine Harris (her current manager). To date, Martine has taken a focus in supporting community organizations writing music for The Matthew Silverman Memorial Foundation and performing at Dutchess Stadium for “No Use for Substance Abuse.” Notably Ayanna has also toured with Robyn Adele Anderson (Postmodern Jukebox), and made herself known at the popular Webster Hall, The Chance Theatre, and other internationally recognized entertainment venues across the country.
